Adoption statistics: Tim Loughton responds in letter to local authorities
Tim Loughton responds on adoption statistics.
Tim Loughton has today written to all local authorities in England regarding the latest adoption statistics, which show significant variation in performance at local level. The Minister is calling on Directors of Children’s Services and lead members to do everything possible to increase the number of children appropriately placed for adoption and to improve the speed with which decisions are made.
