A64 westbound lane closures at Bramham for electricity work

Drivers are advised that one lane will be closed on the westbound A64, on the approach to Bramham, overnight on 24 April and during the day on 25 April, to allow Northern PowerGrid to install a new electric supply

Traffic management will be installed overnight on the 24 April. For safety reasons the electricity work must be carried out during the day. The lane closure will affect westbound traffic during the morning peak period on 25 April and delays are expected, the work will be completed in time for the evening peak period.

Road users are advised to plan their journeys. The Highways Agency provides live traffic information via its website , local and national radio travel bulletins, electronic road signs and mobile platforms, such as the iPhone. Local Twitter services are also available at @HAtraffic_yorks
