One lane is closed in each direction on the A174, west of the A19, to enable Highways England contractors to carry out repairs on the bridge over Stainsby Beck.

The stretch of road affected runs between the Avro Anson roundabout and the Parkway Interchange.

The lane closures are in place as a precaution while the bridge is monitored and repaired and they will remain in place until the repairs are completed, which is likely to take several months.

The work will be carried out as quickly as possible to keep disruption to drivers to a minimum.
