A little local knowledge goes a long way
The latest Know Before You Go (KBYG) campaign launched on 7 Augustencouraging British nationals travelling overseas to research the local laws and customs of their destination as part of their preparation – even if they have been somewhere before. The campaign highlights some of the common (and the more unusual!) laws and customs that can catch people out, and directs them to our KBYG page, country-specific travel advice and our @FCOtravel social media feeds.
