2nd UK-Israel Regenerative Medicine Conference

Leading researchers in regenerative medicine from the UK and Israel invited to participate in 2nd UK-Israel Regenerative Medicine Conference

The 2nd UK-Israel Regenerative Medicine Conference will bring together hundreds of scientists and researchers from prestigious universities and research institutes from the UK and Israel. It will be chaired by Professor Chris Mason, Chair of Regenerative Medicine Bioprocessing from University College London and Professor Ehud Gazit, Israel’s Chief Scientist.

The Conference will take place in the Technion – Israel Institute of Science, one of the world’s leading science and technology research universities. The conference is designed to create a space for researchers from a wide range of fields within regenerative medicine to network and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

The Second Call for Proposals will be announced at the Conference, giving potential new partners the opportunity to apply for funding. Following the first Call for Proposals seven new large scale groundbreaking joint research projects which seek cures for some of the world’s most terrible diseases were awarded funding. Some which the projects were a direct result of new partnerships created at the conference.

The conference will take place on the 25 - 26 March 2014 at the Technion - Israel Institute for Technology.

The BIRAX Regenerative Medicine Initiative is a project of the British Embassy and British Council in Israel.
