Parliamentary Secretary
Responsibilities
The Parliamentary Secretary is responsible for supporting the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister for the Cabinet Office on coordination and delivery of cross-government priorities.
In particular, the Minister’s responsibilities are to support the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister for the Cabinet Office on:
- Constitution and House of Lords reform
- Propriety and ethics
- Correspondence
- Lords Business

Baroness Anderson of Stoke-on-Trent
Baroness Anderson of Stoke-on-Trent was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary in the Cabinet Office on 3 March 2026.
She was previously Baroness in Waiting (Government Whip) between 11 July 2024 and 12 June 2026.
