Neighbourhood planning team
The neighbourhood planning team works directly with communities across England doing neighbourhood planning.
The team has met over 100 communities producing neighbourhood plans, getting out and about, visiting communities, hosting networking events and promoting neighbourhood planning at events.
There is more information about neighbourhood planning on the My Community Rights website.
The team is also using social media to spread the message about neighbourhood planning. Regular tweeting and forums on LinkedIn allow us to share the latest news, examples of interesting work we have seen and to talk about issues with the growing community of active neighbourhood planners.
To see what communities are already doing, join the discussion online:
- Follow us on Twitter (@CommunitiesUK)
- Use #neighbourhoodplanning to converse on Twitter.
- This Twubs page is an easy way to follow what is being said.
- Find neighbourhood plans around England using this neighbourhood planning map. This is a great way for communities to find out who’s doing neighbourhood planning in their area and to find communities with similar interests across the country.
You can also keep up to date with activity in our regular newsletter, Notes on Neighbourhood Planning..
