Consultation description
The Department for Transport is seeking views on making a measure for overall driver, MOT test quality and vehicle compliance.
We are interested in whether the 3 measures of overall driver, MOT test quality and vehicle compliance:
are useful ways of monitoring the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s (DVSA’s) and industry’s performance
would work best as an outcome measure in DVSA’s business plan
are correct or if there are any other potential outcome measures which you think should be considered
This outcome based measure will build on DVSA’s existing enforcement measure, looking at the effectiveness of its targeting of non-compliant operators and drivers.
