There were 20 responses to the consultation received. This included responses from the 6 regulated pub-owning businesses (POBs) and responses from a number of industry representative bodies and groups, as well as individuals.

We are seeking views from those with an interest in the operation of the Pubs Code, in particular those who may be directly affected by the proposed changes. This includes, but is not restricted to:

  • tied (and previously tied) tenants and those that represent their interests
  • pub-owning businesses covered by the Pubs Code
  • trade bodies
  • professionals whose work involves the provisions of the Pubs Code.
