The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government has decided to implement, subject to Parliamentary approval, the proposal for for 5 unitary councils (option 1A) to be established in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.

This proposal was submitted by:

  • Fareham Borough Council
  • Hart District Council
  • Havant Borough Council
  • Portsmouth City Council
  • Rushmoor Borough Council
  • Southampton City Council
