Seeks views on a proposed 18th edition of the 'In service exhaust emission standards for road vehicles' which takes account of new vehicles.
The Department for Transport is seeking views on a proposed 18th edition of the ‘In service exhaust emission standards for road vehicles’ booklet. This edition takes account of new vehicles to come to market since publication of the previous booklet in May 2013 and make corrects earlier data.
The booklet is used by garages undertaking MOT tests, and DVSA at roadside tests of vehicles. It provides model-specific data on emissions performance of most vehicles within scope of the MOT test.
