Consultation description

Summary

The EU regulation on bus and coach passenger rights will apply in all Member States from 1 March 2013, primarily to long-distance regular services 250 kilometre or longer. Whilst the EU regulation is directly applicable, Member States remain responsible for making decisions on several important issues. This public consultation therefore focuses on the use of available exemptions, enforcement arrangements and designating terminals where guaranteed assistance is provided to disabled passengers.
