Consultation description

Natural England is revising its statutory conservation advice for each designated Marine Protected Area (MPA) in English territorial waters (0 to 12 nautical miles).

For review:

  • draft advice for three Special Protection Areas (SPAs) in the Liverpool City Deal Region

  • how to use the MPA Conservation Advice - a guidance document

We are seeking your feedback on the clarity of the advice and the evidence used. This consultation will be of interest to anyone who has an interest in the estuaries and sea around Liverpool or has a wider interest in the revision of Natural England’s MPA conservation advice and its application.
