Summary

We are seeking views on proposed regulations to give local authorities greater freedom in how they provide social services to children.

This consultation ran from
9am on 17 April 2014 to 5pm on 30 May 2014

Consultation description

We invite views on proposals to broaden the range of local authority children’s social care functions that can be delivered through a third party provider.

This proposal supports the children’s social care innovation programme.

The draft regulations for the powers to delegate children’s social care functions are available to download from the e-consultations website.
