Consultation description

The government is considering using the powers in the Public Bodies Act 2011 to implement the proposals outlined in this consultation for future appointments to the English Tourist Board.

This will bring about the policy pledges made in the government’s Tourism Strategy (March 2011) to modify the constitution of the English Tourist Board in order to increase representation from local destinations.
