Following the CMA’s assessment of the consultation responses, American Airlines; subsidiaries of International Consolidated Airlines Group: British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus; and Finnair offered modified commitments in Case 50616 in July 2025. 

On 6 August 2025, the CMA published a decision to accept binding commitments from the AJB airlines.
