Consultation description

Seeking views on a proposed new annex to the enforcement and sanctions guidance that would set out more detail for the climate change regimes.

The Environment Agency’s current enforcement and sanctions guidance sets out a general framework for enforcement and contains principles which apply on an overarching basis.

The Environment Agency will review public responses before they finalise and publish their approach. When the overall enforcement and sanctions guidance is next reviewed, they will also consider further integration of the climate change annex with the main body of the document.
