Consultation description

We are seeking your views on our proposed approach for the next round of reporting under the Adaptation Reporting Power (ARP5).

We are asking about 2 main proposals to:

• widen the scope of reporting to include Strategic Authorities, building on the Local Authority Pilot we conducted as part of the ARP4 round
• introduce targeted use of mandatory reporting using the legal power to tackle under-reporting

We also propose smaller, sector-specific changes based on our work with sector stakeholders.
