This consultation covers the government’s proposals to clarify aspects of the codes of practice for schedule 7 and schedule 3.

Consultation description

This consultation seeks views on the changes the Home Office proposes making to the codes of practice for schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000 and schedule 3 to the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019.

We welcome feedback from:

• UK police forces who exercise the powers under schedules 7 and 3
• interest groups
• members of the public
