Detail of outcome

The department is working with local authorities, industry and the public to improve the A14. In December 2011, we launched the A14 Challenge, seeking views from all stakeholders on the best solutions to the issues on this road. ‘The A14 challenge: finding solutions together’ outlines the ideas suggested by stakeholders, and sets out how we are using these to develop solutions for the A14. Alongside this, we are publishing the phase 2 reports for the A14 study, which sets out some interim conclusions and recommendations – these will be followed up in phase 3 of the study, which will finalise its recommendations in July.
