Warning notices to academies in the East of England
Notices issued to academy trusts about academies that are not making necessary improvements or academies judged inadequate following an Ofsted inspection.

The schools causing concern guidance provides details on the action that regional directors may take when academies are underperforming or have weaknesses in safeguarding, governance or financial management.

DfE regional directors may issue a notice to an academy that is currently rated as ‘requires improvement’ by Ofsted and was rated as less than good at its previous Ofsted inspection.

DfE regional directors may issue a notice to academies that have been judged ‘inadequate’ by Ofsted.
