The Public Land for Housing programme forms an important part of the government’s plans to reform the housing market and boost the supply of new homes.

It is a key part of the government’s plans to deliver 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s and to ensure the government estate is used efficiently.

The handbook provides comprehensive information to estates teams and practitioners managing the programme for their department and arm’s length bodies.

The reports provide performance data on the progress of the programme.
