The Local Government Financial Statistics publication is a compendium designed to collate data published in different statistical releases to create a coherent story of local government finance.

The chapters cover revenue and capital income and expenditure, council tax, business rates, assets and liabilities and local government pension schemes.

More recent and more detailed data are published individually through statistical releases and live tables.
