In 2010 we began a programme to look at the demand of assessments and qualifications internationally.
We compared pre-university qualifications available to students in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, against those available in other parts of the world.
We took a look at the teaching of maths, chemistry, English and history in the different systems in each country. Once we’d gathered the information we reported back about ten themes our research found.
