These documents cover the Independent Chief Inspector’s inspection plans.

The Independent Chief Inspector’s annual inspection plans are discussed at the start of each year but the Chief Inspector retains the flexibility to work outside the plans.

Though the Independent Chief Inspector does not consider individual cases, he may take note of the key issues of an individual case and use these to inform his annual inspection programmes.
