The HS2 Phase 2a working draft EIA Report presents draft environmental information based on the current stage of design and assessment of Phase 2a. It includes a description of the existing environment; an evaluation of the anticipated environmental impacts of the scheme; and the measures we are proposing to manage these impacts.
It comprises a non-technical summary and a number of volumes including an introduction and methodology, community area reports and map books and a route-wide assessment. There is also a glossary of abbreviations and two appendices (an Alternatives Report and draft Code of Construction Practice).
We are consulting on the working draft EIA Report so that consultation responses can be considered as the design and assessment develops.
