Funding to fix unsafe cladding
All residential buildings above 11 metres in England now have a pathway to fix unsafe cladding, protecting leaseholders from these costs. This page will help you navigate the routes available to fix unsafe cladding.
Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) (11m+)
The Cladding Safety Scheme is available to all eligible buildings between 11-18 metres in England and new funding applications for buildings over 18 metres outside of London.
Building Safety Fund (BSF) (18m+)
Buildings with unsafe cladding above 18 metres in London could be eligible for the Building Safety Fund.
Developer contracts
For buildings over 11 metres with unsafe cladding, the building’s original developer may have signed a contract to fund the remediation of the building. You can find out if your developer has signed the contract below.
