  1. Changes to Fit for Work. The assessment service ended on 31 March 2018 in England and Wales.

  3. Updated information - Fit for Work helps employees stay in or return to work by providing free, expert and impartial general health and work advice to employees, employers and GPs. There is also an occupational health assessment service which is available for referrals until 15 December 2017.

  4. Fit for Work guidance updated to reflect that, from 8 September 2015, employers can accept Return to Work Plans issued through Fit for Work as evidence of sickness absence in exactly the same way as a GP fit note.
