Energy performance of new and existing dwellings: annual
Annual statistics on the energy performance and carbon dioxide emissions for new and existing dwellings by property type for national and subnational geographies, held by the Energy Performance of Buildings Register.
These ‘official statistics in development’ are a new statistical series presenting annual information on the energy performance and carbon dioxide emissions for new and existing dwellings by property type for national and subnational geographies.
Figures are drawn from the Energy Performance of Buildings Register and the statistics are a continuation of the Energy efficiency of housing in England and Wales - Office for National Statistics.
The energy efficiency of housing is a devolved matter in Scotland and Northern Ireland, which can lead to differences in how legislation, data collections, targets and delivery plans are implemented by the devolved administrations.
Wales have their own interactive data dashboard.
In Scotland management information on EPCs is available but they maintain their own Scottish EPC Register.
In Northern Ireland no data are currently available (although Northern Ireland does use EPCs and registers them on the EPB Register).
