Health visitor service delivery

The quarterly and annual Health visitor service delivery metrics bring together local authority data on visits to pregnant women, children and families at several stages during pregnancy and early childhood. The source data for these metrics is the Interim national reporting process for the universal health visiting service.

The Community Services Dataset (CSDS) will be used as the basis for these metrics in the longer term, once the data quality has reached a suitable quality. The data has been used for some ad hoc publications in this collection.

Data and commentaries for 2015 to 2016 are available on the UK Government Web Archive, alongside supporting information and guidance. You can find health visitor delivery metrics from before 2015 at the NHS England website.

Child development outcomes at 2 to 2 and a half years

The quarterly and annual child development outcomes 2 to 2 and a half years metrics provide local authority data on outcomes for children aged 2 to 2 and a half years, as measured by the Ages and Stages Questionnaire 3 (ASQ-3). The source data for these metrics is the Interim national reporting process for the universal health visiting service.

The Community Services Dataset(CSDS) will be used as the basis for these metrics in the longer term, once the data quality has reached a suitable quality. The data has been used for some ad hoc publications in this collection.
