Ask for ANI domestic abuse codeword scheme: pharmacy materials

Training information and promotional materials for pharmacies to deliver the Ask for ANI domestic abuse codeword scheme.

The Ask for ANI (Action Needed Immediately) codeword scheme has been developed to allow victims of domestic abuse to access support from the safety of their local pharmacy.

If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic abuse, see Domestic abuse: get help during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The products available on this page have been designed to make it straightforward for pharmacies to take part in Ask for ANI.

The training information explains how pharmacy staff should deliver the scheme.

The promotional materials are for participating pharmacies to show that they are taking part.

Record use of the codeword

Use the Ask for ANI monitoring form to anonymously record uses of the codeword. This information will help us evaluate the scheme.

Pharmacies already delivering Safe Spaces can further support domestic abuse victims who may need to use the Ask for ANI codeword. If you’re already taking part in Safe Spaces and would also like to implement Ask for ANI, please use the dual information and materials.

Fill in this form if you haven’t already confirmed your participation in Ask for ANI.
