Outputs from the annual survey of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in businesses across the UK, produced by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST).
The AI adoption survey was commissioned to measure:
- how UK businesses are using AI
- the barriers they face
- impacts from their use
- their future plans
Survey results provide evidence to track progress against the AI opportunities action plan and the sector-specific AI adoption plans.
The AI adoption survey is now annual, with the first wave of research complete in 2025.
