The Affordable Homes Programme 2011 to 2015 aims to increase the supply of new affordable homes in England.
Throughout 2011 to 2015, the Homes and Communities Agency will invest £4.5 billion in affordable housing through the Affordable Homes Programme and existing commitments from the previous National Affordable Housing Programme. The majority of the programme has been made available as affordable rent with some for affordable home ownership, supported housing and in some circumstances, social rent.
This collection gives housing providers information on:
- successful bidders
- quarterly updates
- guidance on how to apply to become an HCA investment partner
The HCA publishes quarterly updates for the programme. The position at the end of June 2014 was published in August 2014. This incorporated any changes to existing agreed offers and any further offers accepted since the previous update as at the end of December 2013.
In July 2011, we announced details of the successful bidders who we expect, subject to contract, to deliver up to 80,000 new affordable homes.
