The government is seeking evidence on the environmental, animal health and welfare impacts of gamebird rearing, release and shooting in England.

This call for evidence aims to improve the evidence base by gathering information on both positive and negative impacts, including on:

  • disease risk
  • wildlife crime
  • animal welfare
