Webchat

Speak to an adviser online about:

  • the clearance of ‘live’ entries
  • already submitted applications and declarations awaiting processing

Before you contact the National Clearance Hub about an import declaration you’ve submitted, you must:

  1. Wait until after the usual clearance time has passed — find out how long clearances take in the ‘After you’ve sent your supporting documents’ section of the clearing goods entering, leaving or transiting the UK guidance.

  2. Check the Customs Declaration Service to make sure:

  • the declaration is in an ‘arrived’ (accepted) status
  • all documents have been uploaded
  • HMRC have not sent you any messages about the goods
