A new certificate has been agreed for pet cats and dogs travelling to China. Certificate 8902 should be used instead of certificate 6715 providing your pet meets the requirements detailed in the certificate and Notes for Guidance (NFG): Export dogs and cats to China: certificate 8902

If your pet does not meet these requirements, or you are trying to export animals for commercial purposes, please contact exports@apha.gov.uk.

  3. Exporters in England, Scotland and Wales can now only apply for this export health certificate by using the online service. Exporters in Northern Ireland will continue to apply by uploading their application for DAERA.
