The Trade in Animals and Related Products (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018 (Withdrawn)

The purpose of the instrument is to address failures of domestic legislation and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the EU. The instrument is made under the EU (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (“the Withdrawal Act”) to amend EU-derived domestic legislation in England, Scotland and Wales in relation to trade in animal and animal related products. No policy changes are being introduced by these amendments.
