The Education (Student Fees and Support) (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

On 10 July 2018, the Department for the Economy, Northern Ireland, announced that EU nationals (including their family members) who commence a course in Northern Ireland in the 2019/20 academic year will remain eligible for home fee status and financial support for the duration of their course, subject to meeting the relevant eligibility requirements. This instrument gives effect to that announcement by ensuring that the current eligibility requirements continue to apply after exit day.
