2010 standard crime contract

The 2010 standard crime contract is critical for legal aid providers in criminal matters.

Apply for more duty slots

You will only need to complete and send us a CRM12 application for new duty solicitors or duty solicitors who have just joined your firm.

Fill in the CRM12 for newly qualified duty solicitors by the deadline - usually 2 months before the rota starts. New rota slots will then be allocated.

If this is your first CRM12 application, it must be supported by a Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme certificate from the Law Society.

Duty solicitors rotas - 1 October 2015 to 10 January 2016

This deadline is for rotas starting on 1 October 2015 and all applications must be sent using the email address below.

Changes in circumstances

Email dutysolqueries@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk before 1 August 2015 if a duty solicitor gives formal notice of leaving or leaves your employ or if any of your duty solicitors are under investigation for, or have been charged with, a criminal offence.
