Duty solicitor rotas (crime)
Below are the rotas for use between 14 January 2015 to 30 June 2015:
The scheme lists are published in firm alphabetical order for 2014 rotas.
All feedback concerning the member’s lists must be submitted via email so that we have a record. Please allow us time to investigate issues raised. The deadline for any feedback is Thursday 27 November at 5pm. Any feedback received after this time will be looked into, but may not be taken into account on the forthcoming rotas.
2010 standard crime contract
The 2010 standard crime contract is critical for legal aid providers in criminal matters.
Apply for more duty slots
Fill in the CRM12 for newly qualified duty solicitors by the deadline - usually 2 months before the rota starts. New rota slots will then be allocated.
If this is your first CRM12 application, it must be supported by a Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme certificate from The Law Society.
You only need fill in a CRM12 form for recently-qualified duty solicitors or those who have just joined your firm.

This deadline is for rotas starting on 14 January 2015 and all applications must be sent using the email address below.
Changes in circumstances
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before 14 November 2014 if a duty solicitor gives formal notice of leaving or leaves your employ or if any of your duty solicitors are under investigation for, or have been charged with, a criminal offence.
LAA publishes provisional members lists on 21 November 2014 on the Duty Solicitor web page with a deadline for feedback by 27 November 2014.
Email feedback allowing time to investigate the issues raised and make any necessary changes in time for publication.
