We, the undersigned, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.
The Armed Forces Covenant
An enduring covenant between the people of the United Kingdom, His Majesty’s Government and all those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces of the Crown and their families
The first duty of Government is the defence of the realm. Our Armed Forces fulfil that responsibility on behalf of the Government, sacrificing some civilian freedoms, facing danger and, sometimes, suffering serious injury or death as a result of their duty. Families also play a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of our Armed Forces. In return, the whole nation has a moral obligation to the members of the Naval Service, the Army and the Royal Air Force, together with their families. They deserve our respect and support, and fair treatment.
Those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services. Special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given most such as the injured and the bereaved.
This obligation involves the whole of society: it includes voluntary and charitable bodies, private organisations, and the actions of individuals in supporting the Armed Forces. Recognising those who have performed military duty unites the country and demonstrates the value of their contribution. This has no greater expression than in upholding this Covenant.
Section 1: Principles of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant
1.1 We Ubique K-9 Frontline CIC will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:
- no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen;
- and in some circumstances that special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.
Section 2: Demonstrating our commitment
2.1 Ubique K-9 Frontline CIC recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by pledging to the following:

Veterans (Crisis & Rehabilitation): We operate a 24/7 Quick Reaction Force (QRF)peer-to-peer crisis intervention protocol, providing an immediate tactical lifeline to veterans experiencing acute mental health crises at any hour of the night or day.

Veterans (Vocational Pathways): We will deliver accredited vocational pathways in elite canine handling, behavioural instruction, grooming, and canine first aid. This gives service leavers concrete professional qualifications and a clear civilian career path.

Veterans (Assistance Animals): We will source and rehabilitate rescue Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds alongside veterans from day one, training them as specialise auxiliary assistance animals tailored to mitigate the psychological injuries of veterans protected under the Equality Act 2010.

Veterans (Respite Boarding): We will provide a vital, emergency free respite boarding service for canines belonging to veterans entering inpatient medical programs, rehabilitation facilities, or experiencing acute operational burnout. By delivering a secure,disciplined environment for their pets, we remove the barrier of care anxieties, allowing vulnerable veterans to focus entirely on clinical recovery with complete peace of mind.

Veterans (Purpose & Employment): We will provide meaningful employment and operational purpose by integrating veterans into our field teams. Utilising our personnel’s advanced training in pattern-of-life analysis and surveillance planning, our teams will conduct disciplined public safety training patrols. Equipped with panoramic, body-worn evidence-gathering technology, veterans will actively build prosecutable dossiers alongside our investigative partners to dismantle illicit animal cruelty networks, restoring their mission focus.

Service Spouses & Partners: Ubique recognises that the severe strains of the battlefield do not remain down range; they enter homes and impact the lives of military partners and children. Our facility core and support infrastructure are fully open to all service spouses, partners, and family members. We provide a secure, non-judgmental environment where families can process their experiences alongside peers who truly understand the unique pressures of the military lifestyle.

Honouring the Fallen: We honour our sacred duty to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We will name our internal facility spaces after our fallen comrades, preserving their legacies directly within our community work. Ubique K-9 Frontline CIC is privileged to have two active bereaved families embedded in our organisational structure—including a Commonwealth family from Fiji—ensuring that the voices of our gold-star and international service families directly guide our high-street welfare mission.

National Events and Remembrance: Ubique will actively lead, support, and facilitate key national military milestones, including Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal, and Remembrance Sunday. Our central high-street hub will serve as an active public focal point—hosting dedicated community engagement events, veteran reunions, and public educational displays to ensure that the sacrifices of our armed forces are permanently integrated into the civic culture of Lancaster and Morecambe.

Commercial and Economic Support: To directly mitigate the ongoing cost-of-living crisis within our military community, Ubique will enforce a mandatory commercial support protocol. We will provide exclusive, permanent cost-reductions and zero-cost options across our transit-based micro-enterprises—including our wholesale raw food distribution pipeline, canine-sitting assets, and custom local heritage gift lines—for all active service
2.2 We will publicise these commitments through our literature and/or on our website, setting out how we will seek to honour them and inviting feedback from the Service community and our customers on how we are doing.
