We, the undersigned, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.
The Armed Forces Covenant
An enduring covenant between the people of the United Kingdom, Her Majesty’s Government and all those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces of the Crown and their families
The first duty of Government is the defence of the realm. Our Armed Forces fulfil that responsibility on behalf of the Government, sacrificing some civilian freedoms, facing danger and, sometimes, suffering serious injury or death as a result of their duty. Families also play a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of our Armed Forces. In return, the whole nation has a moral obligation to the members of the Naval Service, the Army and the Royal Air Force, together with their families. They deserve our respect and support, and fair treatment.
Those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services. Special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given most such as the injured and the bereaved.
This obligation involves the whole of society: it includes voluntary and charitable bodies, private organisations, and the actions of individuals in supporting the Armed Forces. Recognising those who have performed military duty unites the country and demonstrates the value of their contribution. This has no greater expression than in upholding this Covenant.
Section 1: Principles of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant
1.1 We ACS Clothing Limited will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:
- no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen;
- and in some circumstances that special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.
Section 2: Demonstrating our commitment
2.1 ACS Clothing Limited recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by pledging to the following:

Promoting the Armed Forces Employment support to members of the Armed Forces Community Communications, engagement and outreach Education Civic responsibilities ACS is committed to recognising and honouring the contributions of service personnel, reservists, veterans, the cadet movement, and military families. We will uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by focusing on the following key areas: 2.1.1 Promoting the Armed Forces Military-Themed Campaigns: We will launch marketing campaigns and special collections that highlight the values and contributions of the Armed Forces. These campaigns will include stories from veterans and active service members, featured across our social media platforms. Armed Forces Events:** ACS Clothing will actively participate in like Remembrance Day, promoting these through our platforms and encouraging community involvement. 2.1.2 Employment Support to Members of the Armed Forces Community Veteran Employment Programs: We will establish targeted recruitment programs to provide employment opportunities for veterans, reservists, and military spouses. These programs will include job training, mentoring, and career development tailored to the unique skills and experiences of military personnel. Flexible Working Arrangements: Recognising the needs of reservists and military families, we will offer flexible working hours and leave policies to accommodate their service commitments and family responsibilities. 2.1.3 Communications, Engagement, and Outreach Internal Communications: We will raise awareness within our organisation about the contributions of the Armed Forces community through internal newsletters, events, and recognition programmes. Community Engagement: ACS Clothing will engage with local military bases, veteran organisations, and cadet groups to build strong relationships and support networks. We will also offer special discounts and services to military personnel and their families. 2.1.4 Education Educational Workshops: We will collaborate with schools and educational institutions to deliver workshops on the role of the Armed Forces, the importance of the Armed Forces Covenant, and the principles of sustainability. These workshops will be aimed at both young people and adults, fostering respect and understanding of the military community. Career Pathways: Through partnerships with educational institutions, we will provide career advice and internships for young people from military families, helping them transition into the workforce. 2.1.5 Civic Responsibilities Volunteering and Community Service: ACS Clothing will encourage our employees to participate in community service and volunteering efforts that support the Armed Forces community. We will offer paid volunteer days and organise company-wide initiatives that contribute to the well-being of veterans and military families. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): We will integrate support for the Armed Forces into our broader CSR strategy, ensuring that our business practices reflect our commitment to the military community and contribute positively to society. Through these initiatives, ACS Clothing will actively support the Armed Forces community, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to our organization, our community, and our country. By promoting the Armed Forces, providing employment support, engaging in meaningful outreach, offering educational opportunities, and fulfilling our civic responsibilities, we will uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant and strengthen our commitment to those who serve.
