Aortic stenosis and driving
You must tell DVLA about your aortic stenosis if one of the following applies:
- it can make you feel dizzy
- you sometimes lose consciousness
- your doctor has told you it may affect your ability to drive
You can be fined up to £1,000 if you do not tell DVLA about a medical condition that affects your driving. You may be prosecuted if you’re involved in an accident as a result.
Car or motorcycle licence
Fill in form H1 and send it to the address on the form.
Bus, coach or lorry licence
Fill in form VOCH1 and send it to the address on the form.
