Bird flu: near Amesbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire (AIV 2022/152)

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in a small flock of other captive birds on 23 October 2022.

23 January 2023: following completion of disease control activity and surveillance within the zone, the 3km captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been revoked.

All birds on the premises have been humanely culled.
