Judicial Summary

The imposition of the “liability end date” as part of the transition process to the 2012 scheme is not an appealable decision under s.20(1) of the Child Support Act 1991. Where another issue is in play around that time, a tribunal may need to identify carefully the decision the appeal is being made against.
