Judicial Summary
This appeal is mainly about whether evidence requires corroboration if it is to be accepted. The Upper Tribunal decides that the First-tier Tribunal misdirected itself in law to the effect that the Appointee’s evidence about her son’s needs could not be given weight unless it was corroborated by other evidence. There is no such requirement for corroboration.
Appeal allowed and remitted.
