Zenair CH 601UL Zodiac, G-CDAK

Summary:

The pilot reported that the aircraft veered to the left after touchdown and struck an aerodrome PAPI light before coming to rest in a drainage ditch beside the runway. He and his passenger were uninjured. The aircraft suffered minor damage to its landing gear and right flap. The pilot considered that he probably touched down with his left foot on the toe brake.
