X-Air 582(5), G-CBOC

Summary:

The aircraft was being flown in the area of Pomeroy, Co Tyrone, at low level. The pilot applied power but the aircraft did not climb and the main landing gear struck the tops of some trees. The pilot landed immediately in an adjacent field where the landing gear collapsed and the propeller struck the ground, stopping the engine. Both occupants vacated the aircraft and were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
