Replica Sopwith Triplane, G-BWRA
The pilot carried out a forced landing when he noticed the engine cowling starting to separate from its mountings. The aircraft touched down in standing crops and turned onto its back. The engine cowling forward mountings had failed allowing the cowling to move forward into the path of the propeller.
