Disabled access
General physical access: public areas
- entrances: all entrances are clear & unobstructed
- steps and staircases: there are stairs in ground floor area but there is access to the lifts via Wyndham Street entrance
- ramps: mobile ramps are not available as they are not needed
- lifts : a lift to all floors is available and Braille buttons in lifts. Access is only available 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
- toilets: there are no public toilet facilities in building, but cafés in Wyndham Street provide facilities for customers
- parking: there are no designated disabled spaces for parking, but there is a Wilson’s car park next door in Wyndham Street, which has parking spots for the disabled
- floor coverings: all floor coverings are safe and even
- handrails: there are handrails on ground floor stairs and in lifts
- lighting: there is good lighting
- signs: signs are clear
- emergency/evacuation: there are arrangements in place for emergencies / evacuation for disabled visitors
- there is a separate procedure for this in the building evacuation plan
- telephones and computer access: phone and computer is available for customer use
For visually impaired visitors
- Braille: there are no braille signs
- guide dogs: guide dogs are welcome
For hearing impaired visitors
- hearing loop: there is no hearing loop
- minicom and textphones: there are no minicom or textphones
- sign language: staff are not trained in BSL
- interpretation: interpretation can be organised by customer if required
- hearing dogs: hearing dogs are welcome
