Consular assistance

Public access to the consular section is by appointment only. 24/7 consular support is available by telephone for all routine enquiries and emergencies through our contact form.

HM Passports

The British High Commission in Kampala no longer processes British passport applications. All applications must be sent direct to HM Passport Office in Durham, UK. Visit: https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports

British passports collection only

British passports are now collected at the UK Visa Application Centre located at Victoria Courts, Block A- ground floor, Old Kira Road Bukoto, Kampala.

Disabled access

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office are keen to ensure that their buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public. Wherever possible, we have made our buildings and services accessible.

Access to the British High Commission building may sometimes be constrained by security considerations and the current layout of access routes and facilities. However security staff can provide appropriate assistance to disabled visitors to ensure access to services.
